ARC holds regular adoption events at Pet Supplies Plus in Taylors, SC

Actually Rescuing Cats (ARC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) group focused on advocacy, Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), and rescue in upstate South Carolina. We have fosters and volunteers in Anderson, Greenville, & Spartanburg counties.

We are always looking for fabulous foster homes! Fostering is a rewarding experience that helps save lives.

Our goal is to make a difference one cat at a time. If you are interested in adopting, volunteering, donating, or are in need of assistance please have a look around our page or contact us for more information.

Our Mission

Within the Spartanburg, Greenville, and Anderson areas:

  • To assist with TNR programs (TNR programs are widely recognized as the most humane and effective strategy for reducing feral cat populations.  TNR involves humanely trapping feral cats living in cities, towns and rural areas and transporting them to a veterinary clinic where they are spayed or neutered, receive vaccinations, and returned to their original location were found.);

  • To promote advocacy and education for the welfare of animals;

  • And to rescue and re-home at risk cats.

🐾 A little about us...

We are a small, but growing 501c3 rescue. We are not a facility but a network of foster homes. We believe every cat should be cared for but we need your help! We cannot do it without foster homes or donations!

Our volunteers spend many hours caring for cats in our care, doing TNR, transporting cats to vets for medical care, spay/neuter surgery, etc, as well as finding foster & loving permanent homes.

If you would like to donate to help pay for veterinarian bills, food, medicine, TNR supplies, and the many needs of these cats please use the link above.

We have adoption events twice a month at Pet Supplies Plus in Taylors SC and once a month at Petsmart in Spartanburg SC. Check our Face Book page events for dates and times.
